Problem with Thunderbolt display hub and Nvidia drivers.
Hey there, I’ve got a Plugable Thunderbolt 4 dock that’s meant to handle up to four displays at 4K each. There’s a reported problem with Nvidia drivers and USB-C/Thunderbolt connections. The only workaround seems to be switching to an outdated Nvidia driver (512.95), which is over a year and a half old. When using the older driver, the dock functions well, but performance drops significantly in newer games. Plugable’s site lists a newer driver (532.03), but I haven’t tried it yet. I’ve double-checked for DDU before each update to ensure a clean setup and have disabled Optimus to use the dedicated GPU. Anyone else have experience with these issues? Any alternative solutions you know of? Thanks, Eric
