Problem with the X870E Aorus Pro Ice unit.
I changed from the Gigabyte Z790 AORUS PRO X board with Intel i9 14k to the X870E Aorus Pro Ice with Ryze 9 7950x3D. The problem I'm encountering is that when I start the PC, it says "Reboot and select proper boot Device Error." I have to restart and then BIOS appears, but when I try to boot, Windows shows "inaccessible boot device" and asks me to choose the SAMSUNG 990 PRO SSD first.
Windows 7950x3D needs a complete reset of your system. There are no conditional requirements, just a full installation. Recently, I noticed two units failed—one wouldn’t boot into Windows and kept showing BSOD, while the other never started. Check if your BIOS is current for the X870E model. In the BIOS/UEFI settings, look for a SATA or AHCI configuration option to ensure it’s set correctly.
