I’m generally a PC specialist, but this problem has left me puzzled. I’ve always run Windows 10 LTS version 1809 on my Z390 system. The issue arises when upgrading to newer versions like LTS 2021—it becomes impossible to use the mouse with two programs open. Everything goes haywire: clicking fails or the mouse behaves erratically, causing random clicks and lagging sounds. This only occurs with the latest Windows 10 releases; older versions (1809 or earlier) work without issues. No hardware or software changes have been made, just the same port connection. My question is why this is happening in the new version and if there’s a specific registry setting I can disable.
