I took apart the computer for a cleanup, leaving the RAM untouched while only working on the processor. After reassembly, all fans spun but there was no display. I attempted to reset the CMOS by removing the battery and faced the same issue. When trying to remove the first RAM stick and then the second slot with it installed, the system started but didn’t boot. I cleaned the slot with alcohol and a soft brush, but it didn’t help. Now I’m using only a 4 GB stick in the second slot—CPU is I5-6500, RAM is 2x4 kingstone, same specs as other brands, no GPU, GTX 750ti, SSD, and a 500W PSU.

Have you considered swapping out the CPU? Since the memory controller is built into the CPU, incorrect placement could cause one RAM channel to fail. After reseating, check the motherboard pins for any bent connections. Also, inspect the bottom of the CPU to ensure all contacts are tidy.

I attempted to reposition the CPU and everything seems fine, I tried using a different CPU and it worked the same, both connections are functioning properly. Fotografii - Google Foto.html

It seems like the device is stuck in a non-functional state. If both CPUs are compatible but the issue persists, the motherboard might be the culprit. Additionally, the attempts to connect the peripherals didn’t resolve the problem.

previously I faced the same issue, but after a CMOS reset it functioned properly.

The main problem is likely the motherboard itself. The symptoms suggest a hardware failure rather than a component malfunction like memory or RAM issues. Since other CPUs with different memory channels didn’t share the same problem, the fault probably lies elsewhere. Resetting the CMOS won’t help if the motherboard has already deteriorated.

I think I should purchase another stick with 8GB or a motherboard, thanks for the advice.

I resolved the issue—it came from a small bend in a pin on the processor socket, it was slightly off and linked to another pin.
