Hi. I changed my PC back to its original settings yesterday since it was malfunctioning, but now it doesn’t display anything on the screen when I power it on. The keyboard and mouse lights are on, yet nothing appears. Appreciate your help!

Grab your CMOS battery. First disconnect your PC. Then remove the CMOS battery, keeping power on for 20 seconds. Reinsert it and attempt a reboot another way if needed. Check for any motherboard pins marked BIOS. If present, use a flat head screwdriver to touch the two BIOS pins together (this works if you don’t have a jumper or BIOS button; most boards have jumpers, but removing the CMOS usually succeeds).

Is it a ready-made version? Can it connect to Windows? (Have you noticed any Windows-related sounds even if your screen isn’t displaying anything?) If your system includes an integrated graphics card, have you connected the monitor cable to the motherboard port already?
