Iv been using my dad's old projector in my room and it always had a problem with its speakers so I decided I would open it open didn't fix it but after doing so the projector started to overheat after 5 min of use and the fan started to go full tilt as soon as I start it up this is my first ever time here I don't really know if I'm even allowed to ask something like this here but I can't find anything on this problem.(projector is overheating quickly but the air coming out of the air vents isn't that hot ) model: benq mx520 smart eco

Did you block or disconnect any fans during operation? Is the lamp cover securely shut? Have dust filters been cleaned or taken out?

I stopped using the fan by unplugging and plugging it back in once the problem began. This model doesn’t have filters—just vents, which are clean, and I didn’t interact with the lamp door.
