So, I just got a new case, and installed my old computer. I knew that I wouldn't be able to connect most of my front panel, but thought audio would work, as i had it working fine in my old case. However, the connectors are completely different, and I can't find anything on it online. The motherboard i'm using is an old lenovo 0385CJ1. Please can anyone help if possible?

It's evident the previous model relied on a custom connection for front panel audio. Therefore, you'd have to modify it or avoid using it.

Unfortunately, I don't believe that's accurate. The case I was using was different from the original; it was an older Gamemax model. This motherboard would have been sold in a Lenovo M81 tower, meaning it likely doesn't use a proprietary connector. I just confirmed whether the case required an adapter, but it didn't. Thanks for your reply.

The new setup relies on the usual audio link. If the board lacks it, then it’s likely outdated or has its own version. That’s the only option.
