It detects something undesirable along the GPU route, which is why I recommended confirming proper installation. Also verify that all connections are tidy—even a small amount of dust can cause issues.
Getting a mobile speaker for the beep codes should be affordable. If possible, borrow one instead. Unless your motherboard has an LED for error code display, a speaker isn’t necessary. Make sure to clean the GPU socket and contact pins. If the SSD isn’t being recognized, it might be due to a partition issue—since it’s formatted in MBR. With a modular power supply, using a different cable than the one included could cause problems. This seems like an apparent issue.
I resolved the problem. Thanks for your assistance. I’m facing an issue where my Samsun Evo 970 isn’t being detected as a bootable drive on my new system. The M.2 NVME SSD worked perfectly on my old computer. Could you help me figure out why it doesn’t recognize it now?
GPT partitions aren't suitable for use as a boot drive. When using GPT, remove the partition and reformat it as an MBR. Also, if your board has multiple M.2 slots, the nearest one to the CPU might be the only one that works. Sometimes running two M.2 drives together causes Windows to place the boot record on the second one, rendering it unusable without both. This is just another example of Microsoft's confusing behavior—no other explanation needed. Edited June 6, 2022 by An0maly_76 Updated with more details
A GPT partition is a special type of partition used for storing the GUID partition table. Formatting your drive to an MBR partition won’t cause data loss, but it will erase all existing data. To check if your drive uses a GPT or MBR format, you can use disk management tools or command-line utilities like `diskpart` or `chkdsk`.
It seems the solution is clear, though formatting removes details. Just remember to save any critical info before proceeding. Deleting the partition and starting fresh also works.
