I recently installed a new computer, but it still won't power on. When the PSU powers up, the motherboard's RGB lights activate, yet pressing the case's power button does nothing—only the PSU fan spins and the RGB resets itself. I've attempted several fixes: re-seating RAM, resetting CMOS, shorting power button pins with a screwdriver, and checking the PSU cables. The system uses a Ryzen 9 5900X G.SKILL 32GB (2x16GB) with TridentZ, paired with an ASUS TUF gaming B550-plus WiFi, Gigabyte Vision OC, and a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB NVMe SSD. The PSU is a Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 PE 850W, certified for 80+ Gold.

Is there a diagnostic or post indicator built into your motherboard?

The BIOS hasn't been updated to support Ryzen 5000 models by default.

I reviewed the instructions but didn’t find any mention of that topic.

The LEDs indicate the power status of the RAM modules. When attempting to power them, you'll see specific light patterns reflecting their operational state.

Other fans like the GPU and CPU also kick in during startup.
