PCPartPicker list includes a CPU, cooler, motherboard, RAM, storage, graphics card, case, power supply, and operating system. I assembled everything and the build failed to start. I checked connections and adjusted fans, but power didn't come on. I tested the power supply with a screwdriver and a paper clip, which worked briefly. Photos are attached for reference. Please let me know if you need more details or alternatives.

You could try with only one stick of Ram You seem to have a bios flashback button, did you try it ? You daisy chain your gpu power, can you try with 2 individual cables ? You could try your system minimal outside the case on a non conductive surface Edited December 12, 2023 by leclod

PCI power cable is placed right next to your 24pin on the PSU, but it seems not fully connected.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I have tried these and here are my results: TLDR The flash bios button flashes three times when pressed. Everything else did not show any change. 1. Did not work. I tried each stick on its own in the second slot. 2. The bios flash button may hold some promise. When I press the button while the PSU is on the button will flash red three times. From what I can gather online this seems to mean the bios flash failed. But hey it's the first indication I've gotten that the motherboard is receiving at least some power. 3. Using two separate cables on the GPU did not work. 4. Did not work. Tried booting outside of the case with only the cpu, cpu cooler, ssd and one stick of ram. The motherboard was on the bag it came in on the motherboard box. Did not work. I unplugged and plugged this cable back in making sure it was plugged in all the way.

I hope everything is going smoothly now. It seems the motherboard might have been a bit of a coincidence. I just got a replacement, and it worked perfectly—like a Christmas tree coming to life!
