I might have made things worse even more. The screw is completely stripped and not repairable. I’ve used superglue (it was likely a bad choice). It didn’t stick to the NVMe drive, but I’m stuck on removing it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Superglue might have helped if you bonded the piece directly into the screw… but now you face a tricky problem. Those screws aren’t overly tight, not too loose to damage them. Still, given your current situation, it could be worth attempting to glue the bit onto the surface. If you achieve strong adhesion, it should be enough to loosen it. You might also try manipulating the component beneath the SSD using needle-nose pliers.

I would gently remove all the glue using a needle or a fine-tipped tool like an icepick. Then apply strong adhesive inside or near the area, making it grippable with pliers to turn the screw. Ensure the glue is completely dry before proceeding, and choose a robust adhesive to avoid immediate failure. If you lack suitable tools, consider cutting a small groove in the screw’s rounded edge and using it for leverage, or insert an object into the groove to help loosen it slightly before attempting to unscrew.

Use a pair of thin needle-nose pliers to gently take off the standoff from beneath the SSD. After it comes free, the whole SSD should detach, allowing you to remove the screw without disturbing other components.

Thanks for the feedback. I discovered a simple solution too. I bought some vampliers on Amazon and they effortlessly removed the screw in under ten seconds. It’s only $30 for a pair of pliers but performs exceptionally well.
