I have 24 hours before my trip to Japan to pick a motherboard for a white fish tank full ATX build. The challenge is my budget and choices are limited to two options, and I'm wondering if using an M-ATX would look awkward. I want the AM5 but can match everything else except that I really prefer AM5. Would anyone please help me understand (is it a bad idea to use an M-ATX in this setup?) My possible choices: First, AM5 with an M-ATX – MSI AM5 gaming plus white WiFi (sorry, I missed the exact model name). Second, AM4 full ATX – ASRock Steel Legend B550 white.

Completely different focus areas. Actually, choosing a dead platform like AM4 seems illogical just because of its appearance.

I purchased the basic model and the full edition was significantly more expensive, and it wasn’t available at a discount in the budget range.
