There seems to be an issue with the microphones on one platform only. It appears others aren’t experiencing the same problems. The speed tests are adequate, but audio quality is lacking according to Cambly’s own assessment. No similar reports from other teachers have been found. If bandwidth is the cause, it shouldn’t impact everything equally. A microphone test on another site worked well. What could be the reason?

The issue seems to involve inconsistent audio performance, intermittent cutting, or complete lack of sound. It’s unclear why it fails on some platforms but works elsewhere.

No sound came from my microphone. I tried a test with just one mic and showed the screen to my student. He finally picked up my voice through that setup. The main issue is the delay in my audio, which makes it difficult for me. Also, I can't use another screen at the same time.

I believe you switched to a different browser and adjusted the site settings under permissions, making sure microphone access was permitted.

I tried it several times. Cambly performs well with Chrome. I cleared the settings, but nothing changed... (sigh)

I disabled the ad blocker on Cambly. I’ll check if it resolves the issue for my next learner.
