Here are your current specifications rephrased:

- AMD Ryzen 7 2700x with MSI B450 Tomahawk HyperX Predator 3000mhz DDR4 (2x4GB)
- MSI GTX 960 4GB RAM
- Samsung 970 Evo 250GB SSD
- 1TB HDD from Samsung
- Issue began after receiving a defective Vega 56 last week
- Drivers were uninstalled to return the GPU, then reinstalled
- Windows failed to detect the Ethernet cable after removal
- Clean Windows reinstall didn’t resolve the problem
- RAM was unplugged and CMOS reset; LAN port settings adjusted in BIOS
- Realtek drivers installed but still not visible even in hidden devices
- Suspect the LAN port may have failed.

If no cable is found at all, it seems to be nonfunctional. Try reinstalling or updating the drivers to confirm. Alternatively, consider using an external LAN network or Wi-Fi adapter.
