Completed assembling a PC with AMD CPU, MSI board, and an older NVIDIA GPU RTX 1060. BIOS isn’t showing on the ASUS monitor, though it works on the old 1440p display. Everything boots and runs Windows 11 fine. The only BIOS visibility happens when plugged into the TV. The monitor shows “Out of Range” when pressing F11 repeatedly. No clear solution found yet.

Do you have a laptop available for checking the BIOS? If yes, connect it to the monitor and navigate to the laptop's BIOS settings.

The monitor was applied to my previous computer recently and clearly showed the BIOS screen.

Starting from scratch is typical. A blank display is expected. Training RAM on an AMD board takes time. Give it some space.

Once upon a time, my B350M MSI board would flash bright yellow or red messages like "memory training in progress..." It’s amazing how far we’ve come! Back then the BIOS was quirky, but I once saw a Chinese message translated: “if you noob, don’t touch anything here!” It clearly said “noob” 😂 I still have the board, though the BIOS is now updated.

Press F11 and keep it active on the blank screen until it indicates the range is out of bounds.

When you don't press anything, the system starts up as usual in Windows.
