On my old laptop, the shutdown happens because the fan isn't spinning after booting, no matter what I do. I reset the BIOS (not UEFI), updated it, tried SpeedFan, cleaned the fan, changed the fan, but it still doesn’t work. I’ve noticed the fan runs at full speed during a BIOS update. How can I make it run faster?
