Problem with the computer not turning on.
I assembled the new PC and successfully got it running in the BIOS setup. During Windows installation I encountered a shutdown after entering the system. After waiting a while, I restarted it but it kept stuck at CPU boot status. I waited a few more minutes, then turned it off and back on again. The mainboard LEDs lit up but the boot sequence failed. Some coolers briefly activated before shutting down. Despite taking apart the whole machine, the issue persists. Any advice on next steps would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Initial suspicion points to a defective motherboard or power supply issue. Remove all internal parts from the case. Connect the CPU, cooler, and RAM (one stick in the second slot beside the CPU), then plug the power cable into the board. Use a screwdriver or paperclip to briefly connect the power pins. If the system still functions, a faulty component is likely the culprit. Proceed by replacing parts until it restarts, or bring it to a repair facility for diagnosis.
I didn't see any effect after trying it, and since I don't have any spare parts on hand, I'm sending it back. I'll look for a new mainboard then. Appreciate your assistance!
