I've been attempting to disable that bothersome red indicator on your motherboard, but it doesn't seem to work. Anyone has any tips? (PWR LED near the USB3.0 port)

It seems the item isn't easily turned off. You might want to use a black marker pen to lower the brightness.

Both options are extremely secure. The black marker can be wiped away using isopropyl alcohol or even sanitary alcohol, restoring the board to its original condition.
