Hey guys, I've looked through hundreds of topics online and I wasn't really able to find a solution to the problem, so here's hoping somebody around here might help me out: I've set up an Asus AC57U router for my girlfriend - set up the VPN for her work needs and everything works flawlessly. Except when the router "dies". It happens occasionally (sometimes once every couple of days, sometimes it happens like once an hour). What I mean by the router "dying": the LAN ports lights are on and shine brightly, while the power light as well as the WAN/Wireless lights shine very dim light. The router is not accessible and is not recognized by any device connected to it, regardless of the cable, the WIFI is completely down - it seems that the device just stops responding. Turning the router off and on again resolves the issue, but that's hardly a resolution, as there's a local server with her work files here and she needs to have access to the files 24/7. I've attached the logs from around the time it had the latest crash. I genuinely have no idea what could be causing this - some kind of a hardware issue, on a brand new router? For those curious (maybe it will somehow help in diagnosing the issue), here's a small description of the local network: - ISP provided Bridge -> Asus AC57U router -> Two switches and 2 other devices connected using CAT 6 cables -> Those two switches push the connection further. Thank you for your time syslog.txt

No clear signs were present to explain the problem. Starting with basic troubleshooting meant downloading and installing the newest firmware from the manufacturer's site, followed by a factory reset and setting up the device again.
