Hello, welcome to the PC world! You just completed your first build and everything seemed to work perfectly at first. After booting up, you loaded the Windows Installer USB and everything proceeded smoothly. When you realized you didn’t have a product key, you decided to turn off the computer. Later, when you tried to restart and reinstall Windows, you encountered a blue screen with the message “Something went wrong Sad ” and error code (0xc000021a). You’re wondering if turning off your PC and not finishing the installation caused the issue. The USB still boots, but selecting “Windows setup(64-bit)” results in the same blue screen. I’m here to help you figure out the next steps.

Create a fresh USB installer for Windows and reinstall it. Keep the computer running throughout the process.

Start your outdated setup if available (especially Win10 from old HDD/SSD). This is just a test. A blue screen could indicate faulty hardware.

It looks like an issue occurred during installation or setup. Starting fresh is quicker than dealing with blue screens and errors. If the problem persists after a reinstall, consider other possible causes for failure to boot or load.
