Hello,
I experienced a power outage that disabled my computer, and after restarting it, the PSU burned. After replacing it, it powers on but doesn’t boot Windows; I’m limited to accessing the BIOS. My three SSDs and HDD are all listed in the BIOS. I’ve tested various hardware and BIOS settings for about ten hours straight, but the closest success was using a Windows boot USB drive—though creating one required using an old Raspberry Pi and splitting the image into two files due to size restrictions (max 4Go). It ultimately failed; I had to use the install/repair menu, which reported missing drivers. Would having a working Windows USB key from another computer help? Or are there pre-made ones available in stores? Also, is Windows 11 still free?

Thanks.

It's not straightforward to verify my specifications at the moment, and I don't recall them well. However, here are the details:
- MB: ASUS B450 Gaming Plus
- CPU: Intel Core i5 (probably)
- GPU: MSi GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER
- RAM: Likely DDR3 16 or 32 Go
- Previous PSU: Pure Power L8 - 730W
- New PSU: System Power 11 - 650W
I only used the new cables.

I hope you address your power problems. A reminder about installing 11 is 25H2, which you can get for free from Microsoft. It’s suggested to download the ISO and use a USB creation tool such as Rufus version 4.11 to make your Windows 11 Installation USB. I hope this assists. Cheers.

Certainly, the system seems to function correctly now after setting up the USB connection on your Raspberry Pi.

This approach has proven effective for my earlier Windows 11 23H2, 24H2 PC configurations and all 25H2 installations of Windows 11 thus far. I utilized the latest Rufus USB creation tool without any problems. I look forward to hearing your experiences. Thank you and have a great day!
