Problem with starting the system slowly.
I've set up a 256GB SSD in your laptop, yet you're experiencing slight delays during startup. Your system boots quickly in 4-6 seconds, but the screen loading takes around 12 seconds. Here are some suggestions to help reduce boot time:
- Check for background processes or resource-heavy applications running at startup.
- Disable unnecessary startup programs or services.
- Ensure your BIOS/UEFI settings allow faster boot options.
- Consider using a lightweight OS or a minimal installation.
- Update your drivers and firmware for the SSD.
Let me know if you need more details! Thanks in advance.
A 12-second speed is more than sufficient for an SSD. Remember, boot time also relies on how quickly the system starts up. Improving BIOS settings, adjusting boot order, and reducing POST delays can all contribute to faster launches.
After updating my bios this started to happen.. before it was like around 6-7secs now sometimes there will drop in fps even while surfing.. it shows some minor latency which was quite smooth before the bios update. I own a gl63 8rc msi.. so help me bro
I resolved the issue after updating my profile. I’m using an MSI Gl63 8RC laptop. Please assist with the adjustments.
I believe you just watched a random YouTube video showing a PC starting in about four seconds. That kind of speed is unusual and might be due to hibernation.
MSI doesn't seem to list older BIOS updates online. It looks like you're using version E16P6IMS.109 from the provided link.
