Problem with starting the PC.
Hi, I’m facing problems with my PC where it would attempt to enter BIOS but the time and date were incorrect. Following suggestions from other users, I replaced the motherboard battery. When I turned the computer on after work today, it didn’t show anything on the monitors through both the graphics card and the motherboard, and it kept failing even after the new battery was installed. The issue persists. Anyone have any thoughts on what might be causing this? Thanks.
I've noticed PCs getting stuck because they can't power on but fans spin, yet no image appears or the screen doesn't show anything. When you remove the CMOS battery and start the PC again, it powers up successfully. After that, the PC shuts down normally. Reinstalling the CMOS battery fixes the issue.
Have you attempted to access the BIOS from here? If so, make sure XMP is enabled again. Follow any prompts to re-enter your date and time. I'm pleased you managed to POST. It's not often I see this happen. I'd appreciate learning more about it. Sorry for the delayed response—I went to bed right after my first comment.
The PC appears to be functioning properly now. The BIOS screen no longer appears during startup, indicating everything is working correctly. Thank you for your assistance!
