I've been facing a problem with my PC recently. There was a power surge a few days ago, and it worked perfectly before. After the surge, it booted into the reset BIOS screen but didn't load properly afterward. It restarted once, but now it refuses to power on at all. I just purchased a new PSU and a backup CMOS battery, but the issue persists. Could anyone assist me?

I’d start by resetting the CMOS battery, then examine the motherboard for any error codes, blinking lights, or other indicators. Make sure all cable connections are secure.

The issue is that the battery is brand new, and after 10-20 seconds nothing happens. It seems either my system is corrupted or the boot drive is failing, so I might need to boot from a USB when I have a chance.
