I managed to assemble the PC from Overclockers UK Specs without any changes: Ryzen 5 3400G CPU, Asrock phantom gaming, 4 motherboards, 32GB RAM, Silverstone 500W PSU, WD blue 3D NAND SSD with 500GB M.2 drive. After setting it up on my bench, I waited for the BIOS update to finish. Once done, I checked everything—BIOS recognized all components perfectly, RAM and CPU looked good, SSD was functioning properly. I connected a USB with Windows, reset the system, and went downstairs to clean the area before anyone arrived. I didn’t want any damage during the move. When I tried to power it back on, it wouldn’t turn on at all. No one had any idea what happened since I don’t have testing tools and this is my only machine right now.

Completely silent, no fans or lights at all for a brief moment.

Hey there... I’ve always dreamed of telling a British friend this: “did you switch it off and on?” Sorry. It’s one of my favorite shows. Unfortunately, “just tried it for a few minutes” is often how faulty parts fail. There’s usually a solid EU two-year warranty on everything, so that should help. Not everything might be ruined though. “Dead” isn’t clear—like total lack of power?

Bah ninja post. I type too slow. If there no power we start at the back. Is there power to the outlet it’s plugged into (also are you using a decent surge protector strip?)

Confirm the plug socket or extension first—likely the power supply is faulty.

Absolutely, I made sure to troubleshoot thoroughly. I even went as far as replacing the battery, rubbing it on my shirt, and reinserting it into the device. There’s mains power available, and I’ve also changed the power cords.

Following the procedure would involve disconnecting all components except the 24-pin and CPU 8-pin, keeping only those two connections, then restarting the system.

This produces identical outcomes without any power supply fan rotation.

It seems like the power supply might be faulty, so you're checking another kettle lead just in case.
