Hey there, I tried to set up my drive a few weeks back to run both Windows 10 and Ubuntu, plus a photo partition. But yesterday I attempted to delete Ubuntu to free up space for Windows 10, using the Windows partition tool. Now it won’t boot at all—it shows an error saying “no such partition.” I’m stuck in rescue mode and really need guidance. I just want to keep my Windows 10 and photo areas intact. Any advice would be super helpful! Thanks!

The system is starting in legacy mode or UEFI. You can select Windows Boot Manager from the boot menu.

Obtain a Windows repair DVD/USB (typically the installation DVD/USB includes it) and execute the repair guide. It should fix your bootloader.

I tried to launch the startup repair tool, but it reported an error saying it couldn't fix my PC. I managed to open the command prompt, so there might be a way to repair the bootloader using that method. Let me know if you'd like guidance on how to proceed.

Other methods have been identified, yet you might still manage to launch Windows from the boot selection screen by bypassing the bootloader.

Hello, when using the Windows installation media, you can open the command prompt and run these commands: bootrec /fixmbr, bootrec /fixboot, and bootrec /RebuildBcd. This fixes the Master Boot Record and lets you boot into Windows now! Thanks for your assistance and suggestions.
