I recently assembled my initial computer. When I checked the CPU (AMD R5 3600), there were bent pins. I fixed them until it fit properly into the AM4 socket. After completing the build, the motherboard, cooler, and fans are working, but the GPU fans spin while the RAM stays off and there’s no video output. Is this a faulty CPU or another issue? I don’t have any components to replace.

If the CPU was brand new rather than used, you should have returned it immediately. That’s your initial approach. Make sure to verify the warranty of the CPU. Should any pins be slightly bent, dirty, or damaged in any way, the board might not work. If this was a second-hand purchase, send it back for a refund.

He didn’t purchase it myself, but my uncle bought a new one. Does the CPU still enable all other components to function properly?

My configuration includes a Ryzen 5 3600 processor, an ASUS x570 Prime motherboard, a GTX 1660 graphics card, a 650W M.2 NVMe SSD from Western Digital Blue, a Corsair 650W power supply, an M.2 NVMe drive, and a NZXT H510 case. The system features Corsair LL120 fans with a lightning node, and a Wraith Prism RGB cooler.

As discussed earlier, any pin with poor or missing contact leads to no post. Bent pins were handled roughly, and since the CPU showed signs of damage, it points to a hardware failure.
