Hello. I've just faced an issue where my 780 stock won't start unless I boot the computer. This happens only after installing an update. I've attempted a clean Windows 10 install and then tried Windows 7, but nothing resolved it. I also downloaded an older driver, but it didn't help. The error message I see is SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (nvlddmkm.sys), indicating a driver problem related to NVIDIA. I'm seeking assistance since I want my computer to function normally. Any suggestions or fixes would be appreciated. I might even suspect a faulty graphics card, though I'm not sure.

Power on in safe mode, eliminate the present driver (meaning the update), and try an earlier driver version if available. Uncertain if this works with Windows 10.

I located a solution. I reinstalled Windows 7 from the CD then removed the drivers. Next, I used the driver installation file provided with the graphics card and installed everything locally. It worked.
