Hey everyone, the name of the problem matches what I’m experiencing. I just assembled a new PC and kept the old storage and graphics card. The graphics board is a Zotac RTX 3070ti OC Trinity, and the screen is an Alienware AW3423DWF. Whenever I start up with the Alienware connected, the system freezes and doesn’t boot. It works fine with another monitor. Once it’s running, I can reconnect to the Alienware and everything functions properly. It just seems to stall during startup, and if no display is detected, the PC won’t launch. I’ve checked BIOS updates, drivers, and even tried connecting it to a laptop and Nintendo Switch, but nothing works as expected. I’ve been troubleshooting for more than seven hours now and am really stuck—any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Also tried it, nothing worked. HDMI connects to the Switch, but not to the PC.

No, I'm only using the display ports. I haven't connected any USB devices.

Yes, you could test by disconnecting all components except the display port and see if it works.

Same issue again. I've used three distinct Displayport cables, and two of them were still in their original packaging.

No initial screen resolution is mentioned in the bios. The monitor's supported resolution depends on its settings, not the BIOS.

I'm running low on energy after spending the whole day tweaking this device. I have an extra SSD nearby and might attempt a fresh Windows setup there to check if the issue stems from old storage files. I'll report back with updates tomorrow.
