You've recently assembled your initial setup and are having trouble getting it to start from the USB. The F11 key doesn't seem to work, even though you're trying to use it. You also mentioned installing a hard drive that already had Windows 7 installed. The ASRock logo appears, but the instructions in the bottom-right corner don't resolve the issue. Since you're not starting from scratch, you're looking for ways to boot into the existing system.

The issue appears to be missing drivers for my keyboard.

I already know it’s not the issue. Keyboards don’t require drivers when installing. The Windows 7 install would need USB3 drivers, so you’d have to use a USB2 or PS/2 port. When you mention an upgrade, are you referring from Windows 7 to Windows 10?

I resolved it by cutting off the hard drive power (thanks to a fully modded PSU) and then reconnecting it. For a strange issue, the keyboard stopped working unless I started without the hard drive and used just the USB stick... QUIRKY...
