Problem with sound on your laptop audio.
When gaming on your laptop and the GPU hits high 70s to 80s, the audio begins to crackle. Restarting the Windows Audio Service resolves the issue. What might be causing this? I've adjusted the fan curve for higher performance, stayed at full speed, completed SFC scans, reinstalled Windows updates, run DDU and updated drivers, removed the original thermal paste and installed NT-H2. The system runs on a Gigabyte Aero 15 CPU, i7-10870H GPU, 32GB RAM, GSKILL DDR4 3200, Samsung 970 EVO SSD, Windows 11 Home 22H2.
Only via the laptop speakers; external speakers and headphones respond identically.
@CypherDusk suggested a thorough check for troubleshooting. I’d also bring an extra flash drive and install a Linux OS to see if the problem persists across platforms. If it doesn’t, it might point to an issue with Windows 11—it wouldn’t be the first concern there!
