Hello everyone,

My PC has developed this odd behavior where, occasionally, it will freeze and black screen in Windows. After that, it won’t respond until I completely disconnect it and leave it alone. This problem has been ongoing for a few months, though I haven’t identified its cause yet. More recently, about 80% of the time, it gets stuck on the boot light for roughly two minutes before finally launching into Windows, which then takes around two more minutes to boot normally. Once inside Windows, the system runs extremely slowly and Explorer tends to crash frequently.

I’ve tried several solutions:
- Plugging and unplugging the graphics card
- Resetting CMOS
- Running chkdsk and sfc /scannow
- Reinstalling Windows
- Performing a Windows Diagnostic RAM Test
- Using FurMark, which performed worse than before
- CPU-Z and GPU-Z both show normal readings
- Task Manager displays everything correctly
- Checked temperatures – all within normal range
- Swapping the SSD out and installing Windows on a new one – no success (it refused to appear in BIOS)

This machine (a custom build) has been quite troublesome. The previous motherboard failed unexpectedly after about two years. It seems something might have gone wrong or another component is likely failing.

Specs:
- Case: CORSAIR CRYSTAL SERIES 570X RGB GAMING CASE
- CPU: Intel® Core™ i7 Eight Core Processor i7-10700KF
- Motherboard: ROG STRIX B560F GAMING WIFI (per CPU-Z)
- GPU: 6GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1660 SUPER
- M.2 SSD: 1TB INTEL® 665p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD
- Power Supply: CORSAIR 550W CV SERIES™ CV-550 POWER SUPPLY
- CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i RGB PLATINUM Hydro Series High Performance CPU Cooler
- Extra Case Fans: 1x 120mm Black Case Fan (set to extract from rear/roof)
- Operating System: Windows 11 (latest version)

I’d really appreciate any advice, as I’m stuck and can’t afford to pay someone to figure it out.
