Laptop details: Model Lenovo Legion 5 15IMH05H, type 81Y6, BIOS version EFCN59WW. About two years ago, my warranty expired and the keyboard backlight stopped working. I searched for solutions but found no one else had the same issue. I tried drivers, BIOS updates, power-saving settings—nothing helped. Now it’s been a year without the backlight, and even the Lenovo app for managing components isn’t showing that I have one, despite having it for three years. My thought is the recent BIOS update changed the design, reducing options. I’m not technically skilled enough to open or inspect the laptop. All I’ve done is clean the fans and replaced the casing.
