Hey everyone, just got a new Samsung A53 and installed all my apps. When I connected the phone to the PC, it was just charging without actually linking to the file browser like with a USB drive. It also didn’t ask if I wanted to copy files, unlike my old Huawei. I tried various USB ports and different Type C cables, but nothing worked. Any tips? Thanks!

I don't own a Samsung, but it could be comparable. When my mobile connects to my PC, an "USB Preferences" menu appears in the "Connected Devices" section. Review those settings, as they might indicate whether your phone is enabled for USB data transfer. I discovered this only shows up when linked to a PC via USB or when you enter it in the search bar. Frustrating!
