Problem with Ryzen 9 5950x (related to another discussion)
I've been digging deeper into my BIOS settings and discovered the board comes with PBO enabled by default. Even when I revert back to the original BIOS settings using F6, it stays enabled. If I switch it off, save, and exit, it tells me no changes were made. Looking it up now, it makes sense—those random reboots happened because the processor was running above 5GHz and close to 1.5V. This also means that just setting up the system and turning it on voided my CPU warranty, which is really confusing.
It seems you're facing some issues with your Ryzen setup. It looks like you might not know which CPU or motherboard you have, or there could be a faulty chipset or outdated software. You've tried adjusting the BIOS ratio to 49 to prevent overheating and crashes in Apex, but now you're experiencing problems with AIDA64. The issue appears to be related to trying to run all cores at 4.9 GHz, which causes instability. Your current setup seems to work fine for everyday tasks but fails with specific applications. You're considering rebooting or replacing the hardware, and you're hoping to resolve this before returning items.
