I have a few jacks near the bottom, but after plugging in my headphones I didn't get any signal from them.

Did you verify that the color of your headphone connectors aligns with the jack colors? Also, do you notice any changes on your monitor, such as a notification window, after connecting them?

It is a distinct audio card. Consider using drivers from the Asus support page for Windows 7 64bit. SoundMAX Audio Driver V6.10.1.6600 is suitable for Windows 7 32bit & V6.10.2.6600 for Windows 7 64bit (WHQL). RAMPAGE II EXTREME - Support is available at www.asus.com
