I own a B550M DS3H motherboard, the four RAM slots worked until I powered down my PC overnight. I woke up to a black screen, no power reaching the keyboard or mouse, and now I’m stuck with 24GB of RAM—it’s really not looking good.

Have you checked the alternative RAM that fits into that port? If another RAM module functions there, it means your RAM is faulty. Should the other units fail to connect, then the slot itself may be defective and you should reach out to your manufacturer's support for assistance.

Hi, it seems like the issue might just be a faulty RAM stick. Thanks for your help!
