Problem with Peripheral Connection of New GPU
Problem with Peripheral Connection of New GPU
A few months back I shared a note about my PC sometimes shutting off my peripherals, mainly the keyboard and mouse, whether during gaming or regular tasks. This began after upgrading my GPU from an RX570 to an RX5600 XT, which is detailed in the following build. I’m wondering if this power loss issue for my keyboard and mouse is connected to the new GPU or if it’s something else entirely. I’ve checked the Power Plan and disabled the setting to save energy, but I’m really stuck without any solutions!
update your bios details
if i recall right, there was a problem with a motherboard or chipset on some gigabyte boards from earlier models that led to power loss.
F25
AMD Chipset Driver 18.10.20.02 or newer should be installed first before updating the bios to f25.
stick to this bios update F25 or you risk losing the ability to boot, because exceeding it would erase the microcode needed for the ryanze 5 1600 processor.
