Problem with PC not starting due to dual RAM setup.
Hi, I'm working on fixing my PC and recently replaced the motherboard. Over the past few days I've been trying to resolve the issue. Current specs: Asus Z-370 gaming, Trident z Royal DDR4 3600, i7-9700K. My system only boots when one RAM stick is connected and seems to fail otherwise—turning on, flickering, then shutting down. I've checked both sticks and all ports, they work fine with just one in. My BIOS is up to date, and I've adjusted the RAM speed and voltage to match the motherboard specs, but it still doesn't boot with two sticks. I've also loosened the cooler housing since sometimes that can affect memory performance. I'm not sure what's causing this problem, so if you have any insights, please let me know. Thanks for your help!
Refresh your RAM connections until they sparkle. An eraser is effective—use a bright light and inspect your RAM slots for dust or pet hair. Make sure everything is properly placed. If the system doesn’t start, it might be a fresh motherboard issue.
