Turning off your PC triggers a download of about 189 updates before it powers down. Restarting it prompts a configuration prompt, but after a short wait you notice the update setup fails. How can I resolve this issue?

Occasionally it occurs when attempting to update everything simultaneously. Choose a handful, perform the update, then restart. Continue with the next few, repeating the process. Typically, Windows displays a list indicating which items failed, allowing you to save the successful ones at the end.

I'm experiencing the same issue now. Just completed a fresh setup and the Windows update seems to be causing problems.

@ ALwin got it right for me. I've tested around 20 attempts, and it's functioning well now. Probably best to try the entire batch after a clean install if you want more success.

Feels amazing! I've been using my new PC since February. My old graphics card just stopped working unexpectedly.
