Problem with PC freezing during gaming occurs.
Since August I've experienced this recurring problem where my PC freezes after playing a game. It occurs after various titles and isn't tied to any specific one. It can sometimes occur during gameplay but only when it's in the loading screen, while inside a game it works regardless of playtime. Also, audio usually plays for a short time before the freeze happens. I notice my mouse stops responding and then realizes the PC has frozen. I managed to talk on my microphone briefly before that too stopped working.
I've run memory tests, GPU benchmarks, updated Nvidia drivers, and checked error reports. The kernel power event ID is 41.
I executed these commands via the command prompt as an administrator:
sfc /scannow
chkdsk /f /r

I've attempted to reproduce the freeze, but it doesn't always occur consistently, making it difficult to identify the cause. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
The specifications would have been easily accepted as they were; CPU cooler, motherboard, RAM, SSD/HDD, GPU, power supply, chassis, operating system, monitor. Include the PSU age along with its make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.

I just played SWTOR (MMO) and my PC restarted while I was drinking. I'm looking at Event Viewer and found this error: The computer rebooted due to a bugcheck. The specific issue was 0x00000116 with details 0xffffe50740d5c460, 0xfffff801605d93e0, 0xffffffffc000009a, and a dump saved at C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report ID: 93205c8c-b7a1-4f3e-a7bd-5946e4511742.
I think the issue is likely related to the Nvidia drivers. I removed them and both screens went black as if they had turned off, but the PC stayed on. I left it for a few minutes to finish uninstalling. After restarting, the standard Windows graphics driver was active again, so I installed the latest Nvidia drivers myself. I’ll let you know if I experience any crashes in the coming days.
So played Steel Division 2, this is one game it more frequently occurs, played it fine for an hour, shut down the game, about 1 min later, mouse and screen freeze, then go black and no response. Had to hard restart PC.
Was hoping the drivers was the issue!
