When I start a game, my PC stops suddenly without any notice, as if the power was cut. It also would shut down unexpectedly while I was idle or watching videos. This issue has persisted over time. I checked the fans and temperatures, which were normal. I reinstalled Windows and updated drivers, replaced the GPU, and the performance improved on Cinebench R20. However, benchmarks like Heaven Benchmark or FurMark cause the system to crash. My hardware includes an Intel Core i7 6700k, MSI Z170A motherboard, Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB RAM, GTX 950 GPU, Thermaltake 750w PSU with 80+ Bronze rating.

What level of detail are you attempting to achieve? The resolution might be too demanding for your GPU or CPU, causing the program to terminate.

Yes, I've experienced similar issues before with identical symptoms. The MOBO comes up as the likely cause next.

My setup includes two monitors—main at 1920x1080 and a secondary at 1600x900. The game runs at full resolution on the main screen.

I don't believe the PSU is faulty, but I might attempt a replacement to observe the outcome.

You can find a tester for around twenty dollars, or you might save money by obtaining another unit for testing purposes. The component roulette can become costly.

It seems like you're hinting at something else entirely. Could you clarify what you mean?

Prior to this situation, the computer operated smoothly at 1920x1080 resolution, indicating the issue wasn't related to the display settings. The PC ceased functioning unexpectedly one day without apparent cause.
