Problem with PC crashing after 30 seconds during BIOS setup
Need some assistance! I just assembled a PC and it's running smoothly with the CPU temperature at 20°C, all fans are active. In BIOS it asked for date info and displays my CPU and RAM, but after about 30 seconds it powers off. The specs are: CPU Ryzen 7 9800x3d, cooler Kraken Elite RGB 360, motherboard AS rock x870 steel legend wifi, power supply MSI MPG 1000w, GPU Gigabyte Aero 4080s, and storage Samsung EVO Plus with 2 TB. Thanks in advance!
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
MB: AS rock steel legend wifi
ASRock
is the brand of the motherboard while,
Steel Legend WiFi
is the series off of which the board comes from. You will need to specify the model of your motherboard.
How are you cooling the processor?
It seems the connection to the cooler's pump was missed, the label wasn't taken off, or the cooler wasn't placed correctly—either too loose or too tight. This suggests the CPU is overheating.
This issue occurred during my first AIO installation on an AM4 board. I forced the screws too much, which bent the board and led to poor contact between the cooler and the board.
It finally functioned, but the screws on the AIO didn't work, so they had to be replaced. Thanks bro!
