Just because you have fast internet doesn't guarantee smooth online experiences everywhere. If a site uses their own servers or has a laggy connection, your download speed will match what they provide. If this is the only problem you face, everything should be fine. Updating GTA was slower back then, and with the latest version it might still be busy with many users at once—patience is key.

I understand, but as I mentioned earlier, switching to this router (D-Link) gave me stable speeds across all pages, though it would stop working after a few days and then become slow again.

You’re aware that disabling logging on Netgear routers can cause performance issues over time. If you have that option, reset all logs and disable them. They’re usually found in the security or admin menu of your router settings.
