Problem with online connectivity and web browsing on a single device.
It appears your connection drops unexpectedly on this computer. I've tested both wired and wireless setups, and the issue remains consistent across devices. On Windows 10, no problems appear on other connected systems. In Epic Games, it often flags you as offline, then restarts with a black screen or retry prompt. When launching Fortnite, it may freeze during updates, requiring multiple attempts before connecting. Sometimes playing games shows offline status, and when I switch to Fortnite, it lists all games as offline with login prompts. Streaming MW3 works after adding it to Game Pass, but networking errors still occur. Media playback in Firefox can fail, sometimes needing a refresh. COD and Fortnite generally function normally once online, though occasional hiccups persist. Other online games like Once Human seem unaffected. I’m checking if Windows 11 settings might be involved, and I’m wondering if CPU performance could be the root cause given recent intel CPU reports. Any advice would be appreciated!
Join the discussions! Consider swapping your network drivers for options from Asrock's site, though it might affect CPU performance.
Ensure your system is using the latest BIOS for your motherboard. Verify this; if not, it may be a software issue that can be resolved by reinstalling network drivers from Asrock's website for your specific board. Should that not work, proceed with upgrading or repairing Windows 11, or consider a complete system reinstall.
Thanks for the feedback! I've already updated my network drivers and just installed the latest BIOS fix from Intel. Unfortunately, neither update seems to have improved things. I don’t want to go back to overclocking, but I’m willing to give it another shot to check if it makes a difference. Thanks for your support!
