i just assembled a new computer since I couldn't identify what caused the bad display in my previous setup. aside from the psu, formatted ssd, and 16 g 2666mhz ram, everything else is brand new and i still face the same issue. the monitor functions properly on my laptop using the same hdmi cable, but i'm experiencing the same problem with two different monitors. you can notice the white stripes inside the crop square when it disappears in the video file 20200414_225017.mp4

New rig specs: 3600x B450 Aorus Elite 5600XT. All BIOS updated, older components upgraded first. San disk SSD 480 (post-format), Corsair 550 PSU, RAM 2x8GB at 2666MHz.

New rig specs: 3600x B450 Aorus Elite 5600XT. All BIOS updated, older components upgraded first. San disk SSD 480 (post-format), Corsair 550 PSU, RAM 2x8GB at 2666MHz.

Could it be the motherboard or chipset? Perhaps replacing a different GPU is the main issue, aside from the display cable being improperly grounded to the case in an unusual manner.

I received a fresh mobile with updated BIOS and a new case. I attempted overclocking my previous setup before this problem started, so it might be related to an older component. If the issue appears on the new machine, I’m not entirely confident everything is working properly across all tools. The main concern is that the screen is pixelated, and the file only shows a small part.
