Hey, I received a new motherboard/CPU/RAM today. The Asus TUF Gaming B650-PLUS Ryzen 5 7600X with 2x16GB Kingston ValueRAM KVR48U40BS8K2-32. After installation, LED warnings appeared on the motherboard and it didn’t boot into BIOS. The video shows LEDs lighting up for a moment, then VGA stays active for 20 seconds before the system restarts. I reinserted all parts—CPU, RAM, GPU—and checked the CMOS, turned off power, waited, but nothing works. It seems to be paired with another setup (Asus GTX 1080, Corsair H100i AIO, CX650M). My old CPU was an i7 3960x or similar with 24GB DDR3. Any advice or help would be really appreciated.

Yes, you should go through them one at a time. If one stays active it loops back, indicating an issue with the VGA settings. Removing the GPU—possibly because they now have iGPUs in the 7000 series—might affect whether it powers on.

I also attempted it without the GPU, but the problem persists.

I also attempted to install my GPU in another PCIe slot, but it didn’t make a difference.

I just needed to refresh the bios with the USB Flashback. Everything functioned properly afterward.
