I've encountered several problems with my newly built PC. As mentioned in the titles, it randomly crashes while playing games, specifically Valorant and Diablo IV. After a fresh boot, it can run for about an hour before crashing again, sometimes just stopping or showing a blue screen. I've tried various troubleshooting steps like updating drivers, reinstalling them, restoring the system to factory settings, and installing games on different drives, but crashes persist. I even changed GPUs from an RTX 7900 XTX to a 4070, hoping it would fix the issue. I'm really struggling and would appreciate any assistance.

Hey there,
When you mention a crash, it could mean a restart or a blue screen of death, or possibly error codes. Could you clarify if it's a restart, a crash with a blue screen, or any specific error messages? Also, what is the exact PSU, model, and make of your motherboard? And which BIOS version are you using on the motherboard?

More often than usual, when it crashes, the game just freezes. I've experienced blue screen a few times. The power supply is a Thermaltake toughpower gf a3 850 watt. I don't know which BIOS is running on it.

You can verify the BIOS by launching CPU-z and selecting the motherboard section. This will provide you with the information.
Test your RAM outside of Windows using memtest86+. Any errors would indicate a problem with your RAM.
Your power supply unit appears to be in good condition, so it's unlikely to be the issue.
The BIOS might be the key factor here, as newer versions often include bug fixes and improved compatibility.

Review the event logs for any system or application errors. Check if the games have debugging or crash reports that are active and can be activated. If encountering a blue screen, you can use Windbg to examine the crash dump from a BSOD and identify the cause of the system stop. Additionally, you can run Windows Memory Diagnostic or MemTest to verify your RAM for issues.
