Problem with New Dawn in Far Cry 5 Not Loading
Hello,
I recently upgraded my PC from an i7-9700K with an Asus Prime Z390-A. Everything worked well with the previous configuration. The main changes were the CPU and memory. My current specs are:
Asus Prime Z-690-P D4
D-Skill Trident Z 32GB 16X2 RAM at 3200 (XMP)
Intel i5-12600KF 3.6GHz (no overclocking) – all cores
Asus Tuf Gaming RTX 3080
Corsair RM850 PSU
Windows 10 Pro 22H2 on M.2 SSD
All games installed on a 1TB internal SSD
HiSense U8H 4K TV 3840x2160
So far, only two games have failed to load: Mad Max and Far Cry 5 New Dawn. I’ve tried everything possible—reinstalling, using the WIN11 method, even checking online lists. One game, Ghost Recon Wildlands, is working perfectly. There are also videos showing others playing FC5 ND with the i5-12600K, which gives me some hope.
I’m trying to understand why my setup isn’t loading these titles and would appreciate any advice or information on similar issues. Thanks!
You're asking about the source of the game mentioned in the 2014 bios.
I believe you're asking about the gaming platform used to buy this game, such as STEAM, EGS, UBI store, etc., and whether it's a legitimate copy. Have you attempted to run the game as an administrator on Windows 10? Additionally, the solution for Far Cry New Dawn not launching involves closing both Uplay and Steam clients and then starting them as administrators. If this doesn't fix the problem, it could be due to your antivirus or Windows Defender flagging the game's executable as a trojan. You may need to disable your antivirus or create an exception for it.
It is functioning now. It only needed a few attempts before everything worked smoothly and played correctly.
