Hello everyone. I just built a new PC for the first time, so I’m unsure if I made any mistakes. It’s been running smoothly for three weeks, but during a game it crashed and displayed the Windows blue screen of death. After that, my SSD stopped recognizing me. I’ve tried everything—re-seating it, moving it to another slot, even booting into BIOS—but nothing works. The SSD has an M.2 drive with my boot information, yet I can’t find it. My model is an Aorus 1TB SSD. Sorry if this was posted in the wrong section.

Hello! You're looking for help with a system error and motherboard information. It's good you checked the CMOS—this can sometimes resolve issues. Follow the instructions provided for clearing it. If the problem persists, the drive may be faulty and you should contact customer support for a return or replacement.

Hello! Thank you for your message. I own an Aorus X570 Elite board. In the BIOS it doesn’t display the drive as a boot device, though it confirms the connection. I also cleared the CMOS. During setup, I used an SSD from my previous PC. After a quick reboot and fast boot enabled, the Windows installation vanished and I ended up inserting it into a new drive to start over. I couldn’t resolve the issue and haven’t been able to reproduce it. I refreshed the BIOS last night and everything worked fine that time. However, after a few hours I woke up and the PC was off, failing to recognize the boot drive. @Uptivuptiz
